Our lives have certainly been blessed and made better by plumbing.  From indoor toilets to hot showers and clean water, most of the time we don't even think about our pipes until there is a plumbing problem. Catching a problem early can save you money, preventing leaks, water damage, and mold.  Prevention before disaster is the safest policy.     

Don't wait until you start to have a problem or notice leaks!  Watch for signs associated with a failing plumbing system, such as rusty water, flakes of material in your water, odd-tasting tap water, or decreased water pressure.  A good way to determine if your pipes need replacement is the "Flow Test": turn on multiple faucets in different parts of your home and check for a significant drop in water pressure.  If the pressure drop is significant, you have a problem.  

Can your family take a comfortable shower, wash dishes, water the lawn, and wash the laundry at the same time? When you draw water into the bath tub does the water look rust colored? Are you sure there are no leaks in the walls or under the house?

Galvanized water pipes rusts and corrode internally. When drawing water thru galvanized water pipes, particles of zinc, rust, and other contaminants flow into your drinking water. These contaminants also clog the pipe internally slowing or stopping the flow of water to fixtures.

With copper water piping your water will be cleaner and flow faster. Copper water piping resist corrosion. Copper pipes do not rust thru or rust shut. With copper water piping you can have full water pressure through out your house.



Repiping is a process of installing a new quality copper repipe system. This process usually includes removing old readily acessible pipe and then installing the new plumbing system. Included in the process is the installation of new USA type "L" hard copper, properly straped and secured, install kwik 1/4 turn ball type water stops, install new stainless steel water supply lines. 

  • Type "L"  heavy grade hard copper pipes

  • Copper, brass or bronze fittings USA manufactured 

  • Ball Valves for water supply valves

  • 1/4 Water stops on sinks and toilets

  • Stainless steel braided supply lines by Brasscraft or equivalent

  • 100% Lead free silver bearing solder

  • Earthquake straps installed on all water heaters

  •  Non toxic water soluble flux used

  • Propper straps used to secure/fasten copper tubing to structural material

  • Pressure regulators Wilkins 70 or Wilkins 600

  • Hot water Insulation and hot & cold sound isolation 

After the new piping system is installed the water is turned back on the system is pressure tested and then flushed out. The repiping process takes 1-3 days to install the new piping system. After that there will be some required wall patching.
